Covenant Church East is a church that helps people "Discover Who They Are In Christ."
Sounds simple, doesn't it? Yet the terminology that we use is very important. Most Christians think only in terms of Christ being in them and not them being in Christ. However, in Christ is where all power, provision and purpose dwell. Here at CCE, we believe God has a plan for every person and as we seek Him first (Matthew 6:33), we discover that plan and then we are able to carry it out victoriously here on earth. For us to be hidden in Christ and not allow Him to be hidden in us, we must wake up every day and discover again who we are in Christ by doing exactly what Jesus did - taking up our cross, denying ourselves, and following Him. (Matthew 16:24)
